LASALLE

Anyways yesterday was orientation day at LASALLE!WHOO! Super fun much!

We had a treasure hunt which lasted for one and a half hours. I didnt contribute much.

Kinda stood in a corner brooding and telling Charis how much I am enjoying the orientation.

Plus I was having minor cramps so I wasnt feeling excited in any way. My grp members were fine,they were participative,but we kinda got lost so all the uneccessary travelling time kind madeeverything worst.I got kinda pissy at one station cos we were given a piece of paper with various countries to memorise and when i was ever ready to blurt out the countries I memorised,the station master said "oh haha it was just something to distract u.All u have to do is come inside".

EH HELLO!NOT FUNNY PLS! I made the effort to memorise leh.Whats all these shortchanging? And at that station. we were given cards with numbers on it to call when we are depressed and wanna kill ourselves.Yup coming in handy now!Then we went for some boring talk and when the president wanted to give a speech, 3/4 of the people in the hall evacuated.

I was super appalled!Kinda rude right?and the president seem a bit shocked and helpless.Poor man. BUT HE KINDA DESERVED IT.U KNOW WHY?

COS HE INSULTED DISNEY!he said disney was CHEAP,PRETENTIOUS and that its a good representative of AMERICA!wooow wooow wooow MISTER!Disney is the opposite of whatever u said ok! Its like half of the world's childhood,It teaches children to believe in love,friendship and lasting relationships.Lastly,it made me believe in my dreams.Try achieving half of what Walt Disney has in this world curly hair dude-_-

After his very motivational talk,we proceeded to class. Met some lecturers and they briefed us abt what they expect of us.WAH.Seriously it was then that reality dawned on me. In 4 days time, I am no longer carefree bubbletea girl!NOPE! I will be busy juggling projects,rushing to the printing shop,not eating proper meals and having sleepless nights. PLUS no more last minute work cos its like I am gonna obtain a degree not a diploma cetificate:( BOOO.

But you know what, this time,I am going to commit everything and walk Closely with God knowing that he is going to empower me no matter how tough the going is and stop depending on my own strength. Its easy to say,but I always get lost in the middle. This time I am going to remind myself time and time again that I can do it!I hope that my experience in Lasalle will be a testimony to others of God's mercy upon me.

Phew, Luckily Amelia,Charis and Ama are in the same campus as me.Its always comforting to see familiar faces:)Anyways hope i can juggle mission training and school stimultaneously. On a happy note, Amandal is discharged and her palette count is up!to 80,which is still kinda risky but hopefully by saturday it will shoot up to the high heavens.
